Children will explore the characteristics of clay through sensory experiences and experience making ceramic plates with clay, so as to enhance their understanding of Chinese culture and arts.

To learn about the origin of lion dance, the basic footwork of lion dance, and to deepen understanding of how gongs, drums and cymbals accompany the lion dance through the activity.

Activity Introduction
To tie in with the teaching theme of “Animals”, children will visit “Gumyuland playhouse” to observe and learn about the physical characteristics, rearing environment and living habits of ornamental goldfish and turtles, thereby learning to become responsible little owners and cultivating an attitude of caring for animals and protecting the environment.
